Hi everyone.I wish you all a happy valentine's day, especially since I am single and have no one special to wish a Happy Valentine to, except back in 2010, when I was in a relationship with Mel.
To me, Valentine's Day is more than just a day of romance, it's an anniversary to memories that I can remember from years ago. Below is a list of years and what happened on Valentine's Day those years.
1996: I can't remember anything on Valentine's Day, except it was a Wednesday. However on the 15th, I watched and recorded one of my favourite episodes of ReBoot on CITV. The episode, "AndrAIa".
1998: I was in Wales, and my family and I went to Carmarthen. That's where I got the 1990s modern version of "Romeo and Juliet" on VHS tape. I also got a first glimpse at "Turbo, a Power Rangers Movie" that day, before the official VHS release two days later.
2003: I received my first "DragonBall Z" DVD in the post, having ordered it from United Publications, and I still have it today. "Trunks: Mysterious Youth", and I saw the English uncut version of "Another Super Saiyan", as well as the Japanese version
2005: I went into Oxford that day, and got "Bambi" on DVD, but whoever was serving me at Borders forgot to remove the clamp, so I had to take it back the following week to get it removed. I also got a Thumper toy with the DVD.
2006: I spent most of that day working on a Valentine's Day music video, which I posted on my YouTube page last year.
2010: Mel and I spent the day talking to each other on the PlayStation Network, and four days later, we met each other in person for the first time.
The last few years, I celebrated the day by watching my favourite romantic episodes of favourite TV shows. One example is the classic Simpsons episodes, "I Love Lisa" and "Another Simpsons Clip Show".
Today, I am gonna continue work on some pictures I started yesterday, and then I'll post them here on DA, but I don't know if I'll get them posted today, or later this week. I also might do a Valentine music video, as soon as I've chosen a song. I think I chose one last year, but forgot what it was. Right now, I'm thinking of "Is This Love" by Whitesnake, but I shall check the rest of my digital music collection before I make my final decision.
In the meantime, here are the old Valentine Day Music videos I made back in 2003 and 2006.
